Forge & Flourish was founded by me, Louise Beattie, a passionate solopreneur who embarked on my journey to break free from the traditional 9-to-5 grind and create a life of independence and fulfilment.

From the latin faber which means worker, the word forge is perfect when it comes to growing ourselves and our businesses.
It can be used as a noun or verb and has two distinct definitions.
To give form or shape to, especially by means of careful effort.
To advance gradually but steadily and to advance with an abrupt increase of speed.
Flourish
Deriving from flōrēre which means to bloom, prosper, be at the peak of one's powers.And isn't that what we what we want in life and business?
Flourish can also be used as a noun or a verb with distinct definitions.

About Louise Beattie
Welcome to my world! I'm Louise Beattie, a guide and coach specialising in working with solopreneurs and small business owners.
With over 15 years of experience as a solopreneur myself, running various businesses, I understand the challenges and triumphs that come with building a successful venture.
Before diving into the world of entrepreneurship, I spent fifteen years at sea in the oil industry, where I honed my skills in logistics and operations coordination on subsea construction vessels worldwide. This experience taught me the importance of precision, adaptability, and strategic thinking – qualities that have been invaluable in my entrepreneurial journey.
In 2008, I embarked on a new adventure and started my own photography business. Over the years, I achieved numerous milestones and enjoyed many successes. I was honoured to receive the Women Ahead Rising Star Business Award and had the opportunity to present well-attended business-focused masterclasses at Europe's largest convention for photographers.
My work even caught the attention of the Princes Regeneration Trust, who commissioned me to photograph Prince Charles himself. Additionally, I had the pleasure of photographing world championship motorcycle racer Scott Redding on two occasions, as well as capturing beautiful moments at international weddings.
But my journey didn't stop there. In 2013, I founded Working A Better Life, driven by a desire to accelerate the journey for ambitious and capable women, helping them avoid the mistakes I had made in business.
To further expand my knowledge and expertise, I studied with some of the world's top marketers and became a Strategic Growth Director. Through my coaching programs and courses, I have had the privilege of supporting over 3,217 business owners on their entrepreneurial paths.
In 2019, my dedication and contributions were recognised when I was invited to the Facebook Gather event in Dublin and became a Facebook Share to Connect Ambassador. This experience solidified my commitment to empowering women in the business world.
Fast forward to September 2023, when I became a Heroic Coach, and my business evolved into Forge & Flourish. This transformation allowed me to focus on my main areas of expertise, including business strategy, marketing foundations, personal growth and development, Heroic Optimization, and mental fitness. I am passionate about guiding you towards success, both professionally and personally.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life with my husband and our two dogs. You'll often find me cultivating my wildflower patch, finding joy in the beauty of nature. When not immersed in my work or tending to my garden, I love geeking out on business strategies, personal optimisation, fitness, and well-being. I'm constantly seeking knowledge and satisfying my insatiable curiosity.
In my downtime, I indulge in my love for MotoGP Racing and binge-watching TV shows like The West Wing and The Newsroom, anything written by the brilliant Aaron Sorkin.
